How Uninexus uses data
This page summarizes data practices visible in the app today. It is a plain-language product summary, not a complete legal privacy notice.
Account and profile
An account uses your name, email and sign-in records. Your profile may include your handle, university, interests, biography and profile images. You can choose profile visibility in settings. University information you enter is self-declared; it is not checked against a university register unless you use the separate student-verification process.
Clubs, events and messages
When you use a club or event, the service stores related membership, roles, applications and answers, attendance, tasks, forms and messages. Access depends on the relevant club or event permissions. Deleting a student account removes or anonymizes some personal records, while some shared club records may remain. A complete approved retention schedule for each record is not yet published.
Student-status review
If you request student verification, the chosen method may use a confirmed university email, student certificate and its number. Verification staff review the request. The email is removed when the request is decided; a certificate and number are removed 30 days after the decision, or when you cancel a waiting request. The review result, method, reviewer and decision date stay on the verification record, as does an approval's expiry date. The record is removed as part of student-account purge. The verification consent records its own version and time and applies only to reviewing that request. Reading the notice is separate from giving that consent.
Sponsor and club work
Sponsor organizations have account, team and verification records. Sponsor and club participants may exchange deal terms, messages, private image or PDF attachments, and delivery proof. Only people authorized for that deal can access its attachments; uploading a file does not accept an offer or approve a delivery. An unlinked upload expires or can be cancelled, but linked deal attachments do not yet have a published age-based retention period. A mutual past-deal showcase choice is separate from sponsor terms acceptance. Sponsor-account export and deletion are not implemented yet.
Your settings and account choices
You can change profile visibility and available email or push preferences in settings; email unsubscribe links can turn off their message group. Account and security messages are handled separately. Students can deactivate an account and restore it during a 30-day period; after that, a worker removes or anonymizes selected records. This does not promise deletion of every shared club record or infrastructure backup. A sponsor-account deletion and data-export process is not available yet.
Service providers and tracking
The app stores account and feature records in PostgreSQL and uploaded files in private S3-compatible storage. Email and error-reporting services depend on deployment settings; error reporting is optional and configured only when a project key is set. The production hosting, provider locations, backups and any cross-border transfers have not been verified for this page. No client product-analytics SDK or analytics-cookie consent flow was found in the app source reviewed; that does not verify cookies set by a deployed service or its infrastructure.
Contact and privacy requests
The responsible legal entity, postal or email contact and route for privacy requests have not been supplied. They must be added, along with approved purpose and retention details, before this can serve as a complete public privacy notice.
